Morning Meditations

Since going back to work full time, I've gotten in the habit of starting each day with an hour or so of sitting on the couch with my morning tea and reading something that I might not otherwise make time for. These are books on meditation or philosophy, essays by poets, self-help books (for lack of a better term) that actually help, and so on -- books that I always mean to read, but somehow never get around to doing. And now I do. It's a nice way to start the day.
